Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Sign
/I am excited to share a super easy Christmas project with you. If you're recovering from a Thanksgiving meal overload you can whip this craft out in no time while you're hanging around the house.
The 11x14 frame was a thrift store bargain at only $5!
Using leftover gold stripe wrapping paper from my last project, I wrapped the back of the frame.
Before I got my own Silhouette last year for Christmas, a friend used hers to cut out the "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." If you don't have a vinyl cutting machine, you could simply print on pretty scrapbook paper and call it it day.
Using my drybrushing technique, I applied General Finishes Antique White over the frame to give it a weathered, beachy look.
Once the frame is dry, assemble your new Christmas art and display.
For such a fast, easy project it looks like an expensive boutique purchase. {Your friends and family would never guess though!}
These signs would make great gifts especially and there are so many options for wording you could make a few versions.
Now, my holiday decorating is officially started...how about you?
